Spring 2 Summer 2010 Wakeboard Tournament

Another Spring 2 Summer presented by Wakefactory has come and gone, and it was bigger and better this year. Every year the turn out goes up, the riders increase, just everything about the event gets better. The Steez bus headed out from Memphis to Guntersville thursday afternoon in order to meet our webcast on Stokemeter that evening, and that was a great way to kick off the weekend. Thanks to the Rock House Eatery for letting us do the broadcast on their wonderful patio and for all the delicious food and beverages.
The wake event than kicked off Friday evening with the Brake the Wake rail jam at the Holiday Inn. The evening festivities continued after the jam at various locations around the city that night. Saturday kicked off the wake side of things with Womans and boys open, intermediate and masters wake riding behind the beautiful axis tow boat.
Sunday was the main event, with wakeskate, advanced, outlaw and pro divisions riding. Bryan Hutton came in 1st in pro, beating out 2 year reigning champion Phil Aslinger. Matt Sims came in 3rd.
Once again, it was a great event. Thanks to everyone who helped out and the sponsors, Axis Boats, Hyperlite boards, Byerly Boards, Steez Clothing, Essi Eyewear, Onus Arts, Monster Energy, Shred Ready, Pirates Cove Marine, and Dirtbag Productions.
