Wedding Wednesday: Sparkler Exit
This weeks #WeddingWednesday is from Kelley & Dustin's legendary wedding.
Sparklers are such fun addition for a wedding exit. It's romantic; it's fun; and it's dramatic. As a wedding professional, I love them too because it makes for great wedding pictures for my clients!
A few tips:
1. Make sure you check with your venue on their rules & regulations with these.
2. Get sparklers created specifically for weddings/events. Why? They
typically burn with a golden view; they tend to produce less smoke; and
they usually burn for 3-4 minutes. All of these factors help make for
better photos.
3. Allow 15-20 minutes for this, as it takes time to get everyone lined up and you don't want to feel rushed.
4. Use a multi-purpose lighter that are usually used to light a grill.
Then light multiple sparklers are once and let the guests use their lit
sparklers to help get their neighbor lit.
5. Have a bucket with water & a bucket of sand ready for your guests to dispose of the used sparklers after. 😉
